Fast-paced stunts are the name of the game in Nadeo's TrackMania United. Drawing inspiration from three installments before it, United adds tons of new features to make it a more social experience. Track editing is back and bigger than ever, and now you can share your creations online. Single player stunt racing mode is more robust and features hundreds of new tracks to test your skills. The main feature of any TrackMania game is the editor. Use over 1,000 building blocks to construct your own course from scratch. New in United is the ability to share tracks with other players through an online community. You can even create, edit and share your own stunt videos in a variety of formats! Also new are in-game downloads, virtual currency, a paint mode to customize your car, and online record keeping. Nearly 200 brand new tracks can be found strewn across three single-player campaign modes in TrackMania United. With the online sharing system, you'll have access to over 100,000 tracks created by players from around the world. And the number continues to grow as more and more gamers join in and build their own courses. With a stronger emphasis on community and user-created content, TrackMania United is set to be the biggest TrackMania game yet.

US Qualifiers for ESWC 2008

Games-Services and E-SPORTS SERVICES announced today the kick-off of the Electronic Sports World Cup US Qualifiers, which will be played online from April 14th to June 5th, 2008. The winners of the qualifying tournaments will represent the USA at the 6th edition of the ESWC Grand Final 2008 taking place in the Official Host City of San Jose, California from August 25th to 27th.

The Grand Final will gather 800 champions from over 50 countries with the support of NVIDIA, the Main and Worldwide Partner.
Tournament spots are limited and registration begins March 24th for all game disciplines. Matches will be played starting April 14th. More than 1,200 top-level video game players will battle during two months on secured servers for a chance to win a spot on Team USA.

The following official ESWC game disciplines will be represented:

* Counter-Strike 1.6 © Valve Software
128 teams in / 2 slots for ESWC
* Counter-Strike 1.6 Women © Valve Software
16 teams in / 2 slots for ESWC
* Defense of the Ancient (DoTA) © Blizzard
64 teams in / 2 slots for ESWC
* Warcraft III TFT © Blizzard
32 players in / 2 slots for ESWC
* Trackmania Nations © Nadeo
128 players in / 2 slots for ESWC
* Quake III Arena © ID Software
32 players in / 2 slots for ESWC

Qualifying teams and players will receive a travel allowance to participate at the ESWC Grand Final from August 24-27. The City of San Jose, an Official Partner of the global operations, will provide four days of accommodations for the US and International champions at the best downtown hotels.
